EDICOM takes part in AED’s “Executives for a Day”

The AED initiative lets young university students share a working day with executives from the country’s top companies, as well as SMEs and start-ups.

A few days ago, EDICOM took part in the “Executives for a Day” initiative by the Spanish Association of Managers (AED). Pau Marchante, a student on the Business Administration and Management degree course, shared with Ana Darder, Head of Human Resources in the EDICOM Technical Department, part of her daily routine. The objective was to know first hand how they work from this department. The lessons learned from COVID-19 were also shared with the young university student.

Marchante explains that the meeting with EDICOM has allowed him “to get to know the company’s working practices and techniques in the field of human resource management. Workers are the main asset in EDICOM and they form the solid foundation for a sustainable business growth strategy.”

The AED initiative lets young university students share a working day with executives from the country’s top companies, as well as SMEs and start-ups. The programme is designed to bring students closer to the realities of the employment market.

This activity was carried out virtually, as EDICOM is currently teleworking to prevent risks and limit the spread of COVID-19.
