On February 22, the Ada Byron University Programming Competition will take place at the Senior Technical School of Computer Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. EDICOM is collaborating with this contest, in which participants will have the opportunity to compare their programming skills and abilities.
Between eight and twelve problems will be proposed, not depending on a particular knowledge area or proficiency in a particular language. The solutions may be submitted in C, C++ or Java. Participants will have five hours to resolve the problems and the organization will provide computer equipment to ensure equal conditions.
The team that resolves most problems in the shortest time will be the winner. In addition, there will be classifications by categories that will let us know the best in each level. Prizes will be awarded based on the general classification and on each category.
Registration for the competition is free of charge and students on any IT course at universities of the Valencian Community can take part.
