EDICOM is sponsoring Hack N’Jam, a hackathon to fight pollution in Mexico through technology. The event will be held on October 18 and is organized by the Monterrey Institute of Technology, Toluca Campus.

During the sessions, more than 100 students from different courses and universities will work in groups to develop games or applications to overcome the same challenge: to prevent and reduce pollution in Mexico. More than 18,000 pesos will be distributed in prizes among the participants. In addition, the event will serve to create a networking setup between the University and the technology industry.

For years, Hack N’Jam has combined the solving of a problem related to health, education or natural disasters, technology and improvisation when joining a work team.
