Did you know that EDICOM was the first to create a data transmission network that took advantage of the internet infrastructure?

Today, our communications network links up more than 25,000 companies securely and confidentially. Transmitting over 500 million documents annually.

In 2000, EDICOM began to develop its own network for the exchange of electronic transactions between companies, originally called SedeB2B and currently EDICOMNet. The difference from what was already on the market was that it leveraged the internet infrastructure to provide access to this network to its customers and at a flat rate.

Until then, EDI had circulated through the so-called VANs (Value Added Networks), private high-security networks whose cost was a barrier for some companies (they billed per KB sent/received). In addition, these networks were slow, as there was a gap between the issuer sending the document and the receiver retrieving it.

Today, our communications network links up more than 25,000 companies securely and confidentially. Transmitting over 500 million documents annually.
