EDICOM is forging ahead with its international expansion schedule announced in 2019. To consolidate this process, the firm has more than 100 technological job vacancies in the Projects, R&D or Systems departments. Successful candidates will join the company’s more than 600 employees and will be able to work at its head office in Valencia or branches in Seville, Paris, Milan, New York, in addition to all the Latin American countries, or from any location in teleworking mode.
The vacancies open in EDICOM are:
Software Integrators and Project Managers for the International Project Area and Support Engineers for the call center
Candidates must have technological profiles (IT, Telecommunications or related studies such as Mathematics, Physics, Geodesy or Industrial Engineering with programming skills) and have at least two years’ experience in similar positions, if possible. Good communication skills are essential, as are aptitude for innovation, problem-solving ability and resilience when faced with unfamiliar situations.
The functions to be carried out by each of these profiles are:
Project Manager. Will be in charge of analysing and detecting client needs, as well as planning projects. Negotiating project schedules with clients, providing follow-up and ensuring that the deadlines set are met both by the software integrators, R&D and the client. Finally, they must sign off on the project.
Support Engineers. Sharing the functions assigned to the Software Integrator. Likewise, they are responsible for resolving issues arising from the use and management of Cloud applications and integrations with client ERPs.
Frontend/Backend Programmer Analysts for the Software Research and Development Area
Applications from final year students, university graduates or senior technicians with a good academic record will be taken into account. Likewise, people with a minimum of three years’ experience as a Junior Programmer Analyst.
The functions linked to the position of Programmer Analyst include developing, expanding and maintaining applications on the EDICOM Cloud platform, analysing new applications and contributing their knowledge in new technologies. They will be working as a team using SCRUM methodology.
Systems Engineers for the Systems and Infrastructure Area
Candidates must have technological profiles (IT or Telecommunications Engineers) with knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networks, firewalls, routers, load balancers and databases. Other knowledge related to systems and architectures, such as Kubernetes, is also appreciated. It is important to have a great working capacity, discipline and initiative in research, as well as availability to work open hours in alternate shifts in the morning, afternoon, evening and at weekends.
The functions of the Systems Engineer will focus on the maintenance and evolution of the EDICOM Cloud infrastructure (rolling out new services and maintaining and improving existing ones). Additionally, they must be able to undertake execution of the responsibilities of the Systems Operator Technician when necessary for scheduling purposes.
