Raúl Aranda is an Account Manager at EDICOM. Through his answers we will learn more about the Sales Department, its organization and how it works, as well as the clients and services offered by the company.
EDICOM: What is the EDICOM Commercial Department’s mission?
RAÚL ARANDA: The Department’s mission is to capture business opportunities in the customer profile we are targeting.
E: What is the profile of EDICOM clients?
R.A.: EDICOM client profiles usually correspond to large international accounts from businesses operating in several countries and which have important requirements.
E: What services are offered to companies?
R.A.: The services we provide to companies are mainly focused on data exchange, information storage and all the integration processes with their systems.
E: How is the Commercial Department organized?
R.A.: In the Department, we are organized in specialized teams based on two areas: sectors, such as healthcare, automotive and distribution, among others; and on types of service, such as trust, integration or custodial services.
E: How do you keep up-to-date on issues such as e-invoicing, fiscal matters, regulations…?
R.A.: We are in permanent contact with our customers, government agencies and industry associations. Then we have developed processes to manage this knowledge and transfer it within the organization.
E: What features should an Account Manager have?
R.A.: They have to be a very natural person who is really keen to contribute new things to the department. They also have to be someone who collaborates and works with teams.
