Recently, EDICOM held a lunch with colleagues who have been working with the company for 20 years. It was a truly emotional moment to stop and look back, recall anecdotes and take stock of professional and personal development. Some of these employees shared a few words illustrating their vision of these twenty years growing as professionals and individuals in EDICOM:
Paco: “Thank you for the trust you have always placed in me. I strive to return it each day, by giving my best.
After having my daughters, having a family with my wife, and the ups and downs of personal experiences that life gives us, I have always felt that I am in my second home. You have helped me forge my character, to mature, to express myself… In short, to become a much better person, I think, than the one that joined the company in 1999 (last century).
In addition, this never stops; every day you learn something new, new challenges crop up, new tasks that oblige you to learn, make an effort… And in the end, what takes the most effort is what is most valued.”
Jose: “Twenty years have flown past among business trips, planning sessions, meetings and project start-ups, all of which help us to grow as professionals and in particular, as individuals.”
Luis: “In a time where everything seems ephemeral, we must be doing something right on both sides (employee and EDICOM) that encourages us to carry on.”
Twenty years of continuous learning
Gustavo: “In the twenty years that I have been at EDICOM I have grown both professionally and personally. I’ve been able to form two families, my own and that of EDICOM, as these twenty years have allowed me to experience its creation, development and expansion first hand. This would not be possible if we were not one big family with everything that entails, including occasional issues of coexistence, but most of all teamwork and striving towards a common goal. Thanks for the confidence placed in me over all these years.”
Mar: “Many thanks for these twenty years of continuous learning, both in personal and working terms.”
Paco: “Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity over all these years to be able to grow professionally and especially as a person. It is a privilege to take part in this great lifetime project, to see how we have gradually evolved and become the company we are today.
All my thanks for all the support and trust received during all this time. I sincerely hope that we can keep on celebrating many more years from now and continue to overcome the challenges the future holds for us.”
